The training years at the Basement were the most intense and rewarding sessions I had. The Basement was a 'sharing pot' in which we enhanced our learning experience by sharing and developing our skills and techniques. Those elements are what earned the Basement the reputation it deserved.
The teaching methods provided me with the tools that I needed to grow and develop the skills and knowledge that I had acquired. The training with fellow students such as, Kenneth Robinson, Mark Wallach (
the unit wing chun) and Guy Cofie (
the warehouse) - who now run their own schools - was an added asset to my training and one of the most rewarding times in my training history.
